Dry Press Mounted Prints
Dry press mounted prints are border-trimmed heat dry-press mounted to one hundred percent cotton 4-ply and over-matted with same bright white museum archival board. The beveled cut over-mat creates a one-third of an inch border on every side of the image including the lower edge where the artist's signature and title appear. Mounted prints are stamped and signed again on the back. Detailed information is also noted on the back re: image title / location, negative number, exposure date, print date / number. Matted prints
8x10 prints matted to 11x14 frame size 4-ply archival museum board are mounted with acid free tape, then hinged to backing 4-ply archival museum board and are signed on the overmat. These 8x10 bevel-cut matted prints are priced at 45.00 dollars.
Unmounted Prints
Unmounted loose prints are packaged for safe transport and delivered unattached to any mount board or matting. These loose prints are of the exact printed paper size. The rectangular images have a 3/16 of an inch white border at the edges. The unexposed white border is intentional and is created by the easel, which holds the paper flat during the enlarging process. Square images are printed on the appropriate paper size with extended margins on the top and bottom due to the printing of a square image on rectangular paper. (This border is trimmed off with the heat-press mounted prints.) Loose prints are signed and stamped on the back and include all technical information unique to the print such as print date and number, all print exposure information including dodge/burn information, and type of developer and toning agents used.
